PC TimeWatch

Use PC TimeWatch to limit the amount of time your child can spend on the PC, to set time limitations on internet access, and to prevent your little one from opening certain applications. With the help of a simple setup wizard, you will easily input the limitation you want to put in place; then PC TimeWatch will start monitoring your child’s account and enforce the limitations you set up.

The PC TimeWatch installation file is close to 17MB in size. Download this file, run it, and a setup wizard will show up and take you through the installation process. Among other things, you will get to pick one of several supported languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese), get to choose the password that will block access to the application, and get to select if you want an icon for the PC TimeWatch Management Utility and for the PC TimeWatch Usage Utility.

When you’re done with the installation process and you run PC TimeWatch for the first time, you will be presented with a wizard that will guide you through the initial setup process. You will get to choose which Windows account is in charge and which accounts must be monitored. You will also get to pick a time slot and time allocation for the accounts PC TimeWatch will monitor.

This means you’ll get to specify for how long a monitored account can use the PC and access the internet and you will get to specify during which time intervals said account can use the PC/internet. For example, you can set it up so that Junior’s account can use the PC for 2 hours every day, but only between 11AM and 6PM. On top of that, you can set it up so that Junior can’t access certain programs – you get to choose which. And if Junior’s been a good boy, you can reward him with some bonus time on the PC.

PC TimeWatch is free to use for a trial period of 21 days.
